THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT: SLIDE CRAWL No. 5
*** Monday 26 May 7:30pm - FREE! ***
Crawl Space is pleased to present Slide Crawl no. 5 featuring presentations by artists Susan Robb, Thom Heileson, Jenene Nagy and Adam Satushek. Hosted by guest curator Chelsea Gaddy, the program represents varied interpretations of structure and how it has come to be, each artist speaking to the affect of the built environment on life. While some remain grounded in its reinforcement of reality, others use it to gain insight into the non-existing ideal. Each artist will spend 10-12 minutes presenting and discussing his or her work with the public audience in an open discussion forum.

STUDIO INTENSIVE RESIDENCY!
Crawl Space is pleased to announce this year's Resident artist ZACK BENT right here from Seattle. Zack's work in photography and video is often in collaboration with his wife and children who will be accompanying him during the last half of his lock-in week. Visitation by any member of the public who may wish to witness the mayhem will be permitted at 6pm on Wednesday 18 June and at 11am on Thursday 19 June. The Studio Residency Exhibition will open 6-9pm on Saturday 21 June.
